Prices
This catalogue cancels all previous editions. The prices are net and correct as at 1st January 2007 (errors and omissions excepted). Every effort will be made to hold prices for the life of the catalogue but they may be subject to change. We must accept orders at prices ruling at date of despatch.
VAT
Prices shown in this catalogue do not include VAT which will be charged at the current rate at the time of despatch.
Design / Illustration
The company is continually improving designs and specifications and therefore items may not correspond exactly to the catalogue illustrations or descriptions.
Right to vary specification
The company reserves the right to vary the specification of any item listed in our catalogue where circumstances make it necessary.

New Customers
Goods can be supplied on a cash or cheque with order basis, through major credit cards. 30 days free credit can be given to approved account holders subject to status. A credit reference agency may be consulted.

(i) All claims for non-delivery of goods must be made within 10 days of the invoice date.
(ii) Incorrect or damaged goods must be reported to our Customer Services
Department within 10 days of receipt of goods for claims to be considered.
(iii) Please do not send back any goods unless requested to do so by our Customer Services Department.
Calls may be recorded and monitored to improve our service offering or for training purposes.
Payment
(i) Where credit is given payment for goods supplied is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
(ii) In the case of overdue invoices, the company reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 2% per month.
Carriage, Packing and Handling
(UK Mainland)
Free carriage is applicable to all orders over £300 (exc VAT) and charged at £4.95 for orders less than £300 (exc VAT). From 4th January 2007 a small handling charge of £2 will be added to all orders under the value of £50
(exc VAT).
Damaged Goods and Claims
(i) If upon receipt your goods are damaged, incomplete, incorrect, short delivered or an order fails to arrive notification must be made within ten working days, quoting your account number and the relevant reference number. Claims outside this period may not be accepted.
(ii) We reserve the right to make a carriage charge plus a 20% handling charge, or minimum of £10 whichever is the greater, on all consignments that are refused without reason.
(iii) The company's product guarantee relates to the quality, durability and relative fitness for purpose during the first 12 months after the delivery. Goods deemed 'no longer required' due to ordering error, surplus to requirements etc. may be considered for return providing prior authorisation is obtained and goods are returned in a resaleable condition in the original packaging within the first calendar month following despatch. Where authorisation is obtained a 20% handling charge, or minimum £10 whichever is greater will be charged. The company will not accept goods returned without prior authorisation or in a no-saleable condition - in such cases goods must be paid for in full by the customer. Express Delivery Service
(UK Mainland)
Telephone or fax your requirements before 11.00am and request our Express Delivery Service. So long as your item is in stock we can organise for it to be put on a 48 hour delivery service once it has been despatched. This service costs £9.95 (+VAT) no matter how large your order.
Note
We regret that express delivery is not available for furniture, direct delivery or larger items.

Title of Goods
Ownership (title) of the goods only passes to the purchaser on full payment of the appropriate invoice.
10 Year Guarantee
We have selected products and ranges which have an extended guarantee of 10 years. These are indicated by the 10 year logo and it applies to the quality of the wood, hinges and locks, and excludes ancillary items such as trays and moving parts (castors). Please note that the same items from previous years may not have been covered by the guarantee at that time.
Made to Order
Certain items are manufactured specially for you on request and may take four to six weeks to be delivered. These items are indicated by the Made to Order logo.
Direct Delivery
Certain items are delivered direct with care from the manufacturer and are indicated by the Direct Delivery logo. Direct delivery items come separately from other orders and may take between four and eight weeks.

The 10% Discount and Free Delivery offer is only available on orders placed from the main 2008 product range from Galt Education before 31st October 2008. Only orders consisting of full priced items can qualify for this offer. Only one offer available per order. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.
